Seasons Change- Winter Wonderland.

I took this photo because I liked the reflection of the trees through the snowflakes on the window.
Shutter Speed: 1/60, Aperture: f/ 5.0, ISO: 1600, Focal Length: 20 mm, Flash: None

When the snow first hits the ground, my dogs love running around in it. So I went behind them and took a snapshot of their little footprints.
Shutter Speed: 1/40, Aperture: f/5.6, ISO: 1600, Focal Length: 55 mm, Flash: None

I love this set up out side our house with this rustic snowman and the lights shining through the snow.
Shutter Speed: 1/30, Aperture: f/5.0, ISO: 1600, Focal Length: 34 mm, Flash: None

I love the way the lights light up the snow in the bushes.
Shutter Speed: 1/30, Aperture: f/4.0, Focal Length: 28 mm, ISO: 1600, Flash: None
Even in the winter the beach is a pretty place to watch the sun come up.
Shutter Speed: 1/100, Aperture: f/7.1, Focal Length: 55 mm, ISO: 1600, Flash: None

Portraits.

Low Key Portrait.
This is my favorite kind of portrait because I love B&Ws and playing with light in my photos.
 Background Portrait.
This is probably my least favorite kind of portrait because the picture becomes too noisy and it is hard to focus on the subject.
No Background Portrait.
I like this kind of portrait because it isn't too busy and not being focused on the girls hands or what looks like a recorder, adds character without taking your eye off of the girl.

Land of Giants.

For this assignment I chose to put a smaller me into the mouth of my dog so it looked like he was going to eat me. I added a shadow behind me and faded it a bit and made it look like it was bending at the tongue.

Beth&Tony Erickson

For this picture, I chose to have dim lighting and use the flash to go off of.
Aperture: f/3.5, Focal Length: 18 mm, ISO: 400, Flash: Yes

To take this picture I had the lights off in the room and a lamp behind them and a hovering light above to not create extra shadows.
Aperture: f/4, Focal Length: 18 mm, ISO: 400, Flash: Yes

I had the family lay on the bed for this photograph and the baby resting on Tony's shoulder.
Aperture: f/3.5, Focal Length: 23 mm, ISO: 400, Flash: Yes

I chose to focus on the baby's feet for this picture and have to baby blurred in the background.
Aperture: f/4.5, Focal Length: 37 mm, ISO: 400, Flash: Yes

"B" for Brielle. I had a hovering light so extra exposure and used a pinkish tint while editing to match the headband, blanket, and ornament.
Aperture: f/3.5, Focal Length: 18 mm, ISO: 400, Flash: Yes
Another family portrait taken infront of a black background and little lighting in the room.
Aperture: f/4, Focal Length: 18 mm, ISO: 400, Flash: Yes
