Right Down the Line.

In this photograph, is a straight line of wooden poles that are sticking out of the ground near the Hatfield Flea Market area. I took this photo at an angle so you could see the line more clearly.

Here is another picture in the Flea Market grounds. I liked the way the shadows of the trees make a diagonal line through the woods. I made this picture black and white in order to keep focus on the lines and not the bright colored ground covered in orange pine needles.
Shutter Speed: 1/125, Aperture: f/7.1, ISO: 200, Focal Length: 18 mm, Flash: None

Another picture from the Hatfield area, but this time this was taken from the other side of the dam's railroad tracks. I love the bright sky that's filled with clouds, the shadow forming off the sides of the tracks and the way the lines lead your eye right through the picture.
Shutter Speed: 1/200, Aperture: f/9.0, ISO: 200, Focal Length: 18 mm, Flash: None
A great example, I thought, of curved lines. I took this picture because I couldn't imagine a curvier line!
Shutter Speed: 1/100, Aperture: f/5.6, ISO: 200, Focal Length: 18 mm, Flash: None
Here is an example of almost every line. There are curved, diagonal, horizontal, vertical and the curve of the bars lead your line in a zig-zag throughout the picture.
Shutter Speed: 1/60, Aperture: f/5.6 ISO: 200, Focal Length: 188 mm, Flash: None

  1. Very good examples of the lines you needed to find. The RR tracks are great and my favorite.
