Young Again.

No matter how old you think you are there's nothing like spending the day on the play ground blowing bubbles and swinging.

I like this picture because it's not a regular smile and pose for the camera kind of shot. I also like how the bubbles are over her face and dripping from the wand. I took this at a lower angle so I could be more under the bubbles.
Shutter Speed: 1/800, Aperture: f/7.1, ISO: 400, Focal Length: 55 mm, Flash: None

Another great photo that I caught from a lower angle of a swinger. I like this picture not only because of her expression but because I was able to get her from head to toe and still have a well angled picture.
Shutter Speed: 1/500, Aperture: f/6.3, ISO: 400, Focal Length: 41 mm, Flash: None

Here is another favorite of mine just because I like the shadow that is casted of the fence onto her face. I think the shadow adds a nice effect to the picture and the black and white with a sepia tint adds to that effect also. This is another photo I chose to take from a lower angle.
Shutter Speed: 1/200,  Aperture: f/11.0, ISO: 200, Focal Length: 46 mm, Flash: None
I like this picture because of the bright colors in it. My favorite part about this photograph is probably the way the bubble catches her earring and magnifies it. Normally people don't like sun spots in their photos but I like the one in this picture because it brightens the effect and I think fits well.
Shutter Speed: 1/125, Aperture: f/9.0, ISO: 200, Focal Length: 55 mm, Flash: None
Another brightly colored picture with the same subject as before. Again there is a dark shadow on the side of her face that is a nice quality to the picture. I love the brightness of her headband in side the dark corner of the picture. I also like how you can see the soap running down her hand while the bubbles come out.
Shutter Speed: 1/200, Aperture: f/10.0, ISO: 200, Focal Length: 55 mm, Flash: None

  1. Your bubble series was excellent during the slide show and these are great examples of that morning. Good work.
